With 25 years of screen acting experience, I guide you through preparation and work with you on the day to shape something truthful, grounded, and pitched for camera. We don’t rush — we take the time to build confidence and craft an honest, nuanced performance that shows you at your best.
Professional footage, made simple.
Many actors have strong performances recorded on phones, against plain walls, with flat lighting and imperfect sound. The intention is right, the work is there — but the presentation quietly works against you.
Monoshoots takes that performance and places it in a cinematic, professionally filmed environment, so casting can focus on what matters — you.
Original Material, Written for You
Every Monoshoot includes a monologue written specifically for you — crafted to suit your style, screen presence, and personality. This option is ready-to-perform, screen-optimized, and copyright-free, and is what most actors choose.
If you already have a piece that is under 2 minutes and works well for screen, you may use that instead — Shakespeare pieces are a great fit. Otherwise, your bespoke monologue is designed to give you the strongest possible performance on camera.
How we'll work
We spend up to three hours together in my central Bath studio, giving plenty of time to rehearse, experiment, and refine your monologue.
There’s also time to check hair, makeup, and outfits — everything is arranged to help you feel comfortable and look your best on camera.
With relaxed, cinematic lighting and expert guidance, we capture your performance naturally and confidently, so we create a piece you’re genuinely proud of.
